Greetings to all - this is my first post! And my first Mac!
Using Spyder 2, coloreyes display pro, creating profiles with different white point, gamma, luminance, etc., can't get close to my printer guy's Samsung which prints just like what is seen on his screen. My display is way more saturated, contrasty with magenta cast. The same is true with images I upload to my website. I know a lot has been said about this subject and I have read all I can find and have done all I have learned using the CEDP and Spyder.
I have read that some folks have just given up got an external monitor and others report success. I am serious about photography but live on a sailboat which gets me to exotic destinations and don't want to always deal with another monitor that otherwise lives disassembled in a protective case slipped into a dry-bag stashed away safe and dry!
-Perhaps there is a simple thing that will embarrass me! (hopefully!)
-Perhaps these screens can't be calibrated to print off? or to web-publish off? Can't believe that!
