Alright, so I have a 24" Apple LED display.

I have a bit of a problem deciding what to do here. What I mainly do with the computer is Graphic and Web design. I have kinda narrowed it down to 2 options. I need something portable, that can handle adobe every so often.

1. Mac Pro 09 2.66ghz quad and a MacBook 2.4Ghz

OR

2. MacBook Pro 17" 2.93ghz 7200rpm AND macbook air.

Remember I have the 24" LED display.

Thanks!! :D

It depends on what you use your Mac for.

If your a News Reporter for example, you'll want the MacBook Air. But in this instance you would not want 2 laptops, instead I'd get the iMac in place of the MBP.

As for option 1. This seems to be kind and flowing with your current setup, so everything will slip straight in, and you get the added performance of the MB, which I can tell you, is very good.

Just get the 15" MacBook Pro. It's pretty portable, and it has almost all the power of the 17" model at a much lesser cost.

why again do you need two laptops? I'm with laptop plus iMac, say hello to dual screens with a desktop.

So would you get a 17" to go with the 24:" LED.

OR The 09 2.66ghz quad mac pro and the 13" 2.4ghz macbook

Thanks....I am just soooo used to having a desktop that is upgradeable. I really do not know what to do......

I actually plan on buying a Quad 2.66 this summer to go with my 2.4 Macbook. having a smaller sized laptop for the road is nice. Then when you come home you have the powerhouse you need.
