I bought a new mbp 17" /w 8gb ram(including applecare) about 2-3 months ago.
It's great but there is a high pitch noise which bothers me. I didn't really use it for the first two weeks because I was too busy to set it up with all of my development tools. Of course I regret not making time for that so I could have taken it in for an exchange.
I've finally lost my patience with the noise and I'm going to take it in and demand they do something about it.
Now my question what are the chances I could demand they replace it with a new mbp. As in the sweet new ones that came out last week. How would I argue for it? Just act like an ******* and demand they replace it instead of wasting my time sending it to replace the logic board?
