Ive had this unit for about a year now, got i back in october 2007 brand new.
the unit itself is in great physical and comestic condition , howeve ri noticed now that there is a spec of dust in the upper left corner of the screen. it was never there before as i work on lighter imagine and graphics.

it snot a dead pixel as it seems to have shifted from being horizontal to diagonal and i can see partially see it when the unit or lcd is off.

is there anyway to clean the dust out of there or can apple clean it out?

id hate to have to get a replacement LCD because of this or go through the trouble. since ive read many others have had dust issues in their previous generation mb/mbp lcds

thanks for any advice!

if it is a speck of dust between the LCD screen and the coating, I think it will be tricky to get rid of it without taking apart the display.

I doubt Apple would be willing to do this, and even if they do, they will charge you.

A picture might help us understand the issue better.
