So I've been following the macrumors site for ages keeping up with all things Apple and I've now decided on joining the website.
I need some advice...
I currently have a MBP Unibody with a 250GB HD and 4GB ram. I'm reaching the limits of my HD which isn't cool (had to delete some stuff before being able to update software recently) I'm not even too sure what's taking up all my space and I've just emptied my trash so I know it's not that. Anyway, ramblings aside, It's been running a bit slower recently and I still have over a year left on my applecare. How should I upgrade my MBP and how easy is it?
I want to possibly upgrade to 8GB RAM to really speed up my machine but have no idea where to buy it from/ how much it would cost etc. I live in the UK but could get it shipped over from the states if it's much cheaper. Is there any way of adding to the 4GB ram I already have? How much would it cost to upgrade to a 500GB internal HD or should I just buy an external for films, etc.
As you can tell I'm really lost and all help you guys can give me will be hugely appreciated. If this has been answered I'm sorry I couldn't find it and would appreciate someone linking me to said forum if it exists.
