Oh great hive mind...

Whenever I'm downloading something on my MBP at speeds of 1mpbs or more my wireless mouse which runs on 2.4ghz becomes really unresponsive. The cursor skips around a lot making the mouse unusable until the download is complete.

I assume this is because of interference from my wireless router that also runs on 2.4ghz.

If I change the channel on the router will this help? Or does changing the channel on the router do something unrelated to my issue.

Thanks.

It is interferece from the wireless router going to the wireless card inside your computer, i get the same thing sometimes. Changing the chanel wont help, getting a bluetooth mouse however will fix the problem.

i got a similar problem too
i regret not buying a bluetooth mouse
yet there are little choices
