MBP 2.53GHz, Late 08 Model - heat near magsafe?

Hi All - for anyone with a MPB, new body design - can you give me an idea of how hot yours gets, particularly on the base and at the left hand top edge of the keyboard (near escape key and magsafe connector)? At that area, mine is quite warm, even when not doing intensive tasks - just browsing etc...Wanted to see other experiences to hopefully hear it's normal. I guess near the magsafe connector, it could be expected. Other areas of the keyboard area - right hand side and down near the trackpad are fine.

It's normal. It'll get really hot once you start using the CPU more.

Get a program like iStats by iSlayer so you can monitor your system temperatures and fan speed.

actually i think its near where the 9600m gt is located so it gets damned hot near there ^^
