MBP 2.6GHz 4GB SR led

I'm a student from Norway and I'm considering about buying a MBP
im often using PS3 and gaming 3d games, so I was wondering about MBP 2.6GHz 4GB SR led would be good for me? I'll also be using it for school, so battery life time is important aswell as silentness.

I have been seen people saying that led screen is bad, that it often has bugs and so on, etc discolouring at some spots.

On some other forums i've been told to buy with 2gb only, and upgrade it somewhere else instead of apple, because they have so expensive ram.

Could someone with experience tell me about i should upgrade it from apple or somewhere else?

2.6 will get you no noticeable advantage whatsoever over 2.4 unless you export HD all day, I say bump the hard drive up to 250 with what you save and go for third party RAM for sure, because Apple sucks money in that department. The LED screen is fine on mine, and you won't get a bad screen because people complain when they have problems, and just stick with it when they don't.
