I have a MacBook Pro from 2008. I had Apple finally update the Operating system to Yosemite. They said the Mac would be slower and thats ok. Now my lighting on the keyboard does not work. I did the SMC reboot by taking the battery out. That did not work. When you press the lighting key it just shows a "_" like its not an option. Is there anything I can do? Don't want the hassle of Apple service for something like that. I have OS 10.10.5, 2 gigs of Ram, 2.4 ghz Core 2 Duo Processor.

Im not to savy about all this stuff.
