While surfing the net my friend's MBP froze up, and she tried to restart it. Ever since then, the computer wouldn't get past the Apple logo and spinning icon below it.
Reseated RAM and HD, still didn't work.
Wiped HD and reinstalled OSX Snow Leopard, still didn't work. Had to do this on a different machine because hers hung up on the install from the installation disc.
Now it is giving the prohibitory sign and that is it.
When I start it in verbose mode I get the following error:
iousbfamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in.
Thing is, nothing is plugged into the machine and this is becoming super frustrating.
Tried using a hard drive from my exact same model and it wouldn't boot, either.
Any helpful insight would be GREATLY appreciated!
