MBP 2010 or MBP 2011?!

Macbook Pro 13" 2010 or Macbook Pro 13" 2011?
I'm a college student and I will mainly use it to do word processing and maybe later on for graphic design and music production. I have the money for both but which one I'm I going to get the most bang for my buck out of? I've been reading all the negativity about the new line so I'm kind of worried about purchasing that one. Thanks in advance.

The latter will be faster for what you want to do - and there's always people whining or complaining when machines come out for at least a couple of months. Don't let it scare you away from a good machine.

To be honest, either machine would be fine for your uses. Whichever you like/can get cheaper etc would be ideal. ie if you have a 2010 and wonder if a 2011 would do better for you, the answer is probably no.

Any heavy duty stuff and it'd probably be better to move up to 15 inch.
