Made my decision.. I was hoping for the new MBP 15" retina. Willing to drop 2k...
Gah, forget it.. nothing expandable/upgradable and 100% donglable

So, I'm taking my 2011 MBP putting in SSD drive 1TB and a new battery (she's tired). Oh, and I may have to replace the trackpad(65.00)

Anyone have a suggestion for the best bang for the buck SSD? I was going to go samsung 850EVO.
Thanks

Those are some good upgrades you have planned, but if your 2011 MBP is a 15" then it is susceptible to dGPU failures so investing a lot of money could be wasted.

The latest Crucial MX300 (Amazon $240 for 1 TB) SSD's are a good value and a little cheaper than the Samsung 850 EVOs (Amazon $315 for 1 TB). I noticed last year that the Samsungs were on sale more than Crucials during the Holidays.
