Hi, I was wondering if anyone could confirm that they are successfully using this combination of things...
1. A mid-2012 Macbook Pro (non-retina) with the Nvidia Geforce GT 650M 1024 MB graphics card
2. A Thunderbolt display, either the Apple one or another (I've tried both it and an LG 34UM95)
3. Windows 7 or 8 in bootcamp
Since I got this computer and the monitor, I've tried using bootcamp, but Windows is almost unusable. There's this lag that happens every couple of seconds or so. If I play a video, the video halts, and the sound makes this kind of buzzing noise (my friend calls it a fart noise).
Originally, I thought it was that the Thunderbolt display, but the exact same thing happens with a LG 34UM95, only over Thunderbolt. If I hook it up via HDMI it works just fine.
If anyone has this combination working without performance issues, please let me know. Even better, please let me know what nvidia driver you're using on bootcamp.
Thanks!
