My wife's rMBP 2015 is complaining about battery. She has about 550 cycles on it and the AC+ ran out at the beginning of the year. What are the odds that Apple would do a good will repair? Are the replacements done at the stores or would they need to ship the MacBook to a depot? Does anyone have a recent experience with the process?

thanks

I can get mine done at my local store, probably overnight. The capabilities at individual stores varies. I don't think that they give you a free battery unless it was covered or unless it was bulging.

I guess I will call around to find out the specifics for my area. Thanks!
