Hello, I have not used the MBP 2016-17 nor Windows 10 laptops so I do not know. Before Year 2015, MBP users had no problems in connecting their laptop to projectors in conferences and other public venues. It always worked. However, quite often I saw Windows laptop users had issues in connecting their computer to the projects. Even they could connect to the projector, sometimes their videos could not play back during the presentation. Their presentations were ruined as a result.
How is the situation these days?
If the MBP is still better than Windows laptop in this aspect, I may wait for one more month and see if anything new comes out. If Windows 10 laptops are now better than the MAC, perhaps time to jump ship.
