Just a quick question.

Is the MBP 2016 2.0 GHZ faster than my MBP 2015 2.7 GHZ?

Just curious because i pulled the trigger on a great deal from B&H Photo: $1349 for MacBook Pro 2016 non touch bar with no tax and free shipping.

It depends. Not all GHz is the same. The new 2.0GHz 15W 6th Gen is pretty good. The 2015 is probably the 28watt CPU. You also get a much better Iris GPU on the 2016 CPU.

Yes according to Bench Mark tests.

There isn't enough difference between 13" model cpus to be too worried. If they're too slow, move to a 15".

13" is perfect. I just use it at hotels anyway for lite stuff mostly. I have my iMac as my main.

That's fine. I meant that the difference in cpu performance among them isn't likely to be noticeable. I can't imagine worrying about it.
