I have a (late) 2009 Macbook and I just bought the new MacBook Pro 2016.

And I am wondering if I can use my charger extender with my new Macbook pro? The connectors fit, but I was scared to try it plugged in because I didn't want to damage the charger brick or the battery of my MBP if the watts would cause an issue?

Thanks.

There will be no issues.
