A few times a day my MBP gaps out for a second or two. I think it might be when it is switching from the Radeon to integrated graphics, but I'm not sure. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016)
2.6 GHz
Radeon Pro 450
macOS Sierra v. 10.12.1

Does the cursor turn to a beach ball when this happens, or does the system completely lock up? Can you move the cursor?

No beachball. It's as if the computer is stuck in time. Can't move the cursor, animations halt. Lasts 1-3 seconds.

Hmm. That doesn't sound good. However, someone appears to have received an email from Craig Federighi who made it clear that the next macOS update is going to address some graphics-related issues. So, if you don't want the hassle, it may be worth waiting for that update to come out to see if it fixes it before seeking an exchange.

I got this problem before. I did a clean install and my machine works flawlessly now. I think it is the OS issue.
