My I7 2.6ghz MBP has idle temperature of around 70 degrees Celsius when running on bootcamp and this is considering the fact that I underclock it via Intel XTU. It also gets pretty loud. Is this normal? I've just saw a post on another forum from a guy with 2017 MBP and idle temperature of 57 degrees. What's going on? It even reaches 80c. on idle!View attachment 834747

The various settings that apple employs to manage the battery performance, heat and fans not used in windows, so you'll get a louder, hotter computer who's battery will not last as long. Yes its fairly normal and no there's not much you can do about it.
