MBP 2019 16" Popping sound is back!

It seems the popping sound (software) issue is now back again sinse BigSur 11.4...

Pretty annoying

So when you hear music and youtubes and leave the content you hear the POP!

Is it just one loud pop? And have you tried restarting?

I can confirm that. After 11.4 update I started to have popping sound even on my MBP13 2020 (intel).

Same here.
I have not seen this as a major issue due to what work i do on my Mac but since 11.4 it's worse than ever and i being reminded every time i do some type of pause, play and scrolling in videos/podcasts.

Good news! So far all audio popping issues I was having before have been fixed in macOS Monterey 12 Beta 8. The only time I have popping sounds is while playing Youtube videos on Firefox 92.0.1.

Also REALLY GOOD NEWS! Apple is finally taking these popping sound issues seriously!
