MBP 2019 can no longer AirPlay send/receive since Tahoe

I have regularly used AirPlay to stream from/to my 2019 MBP 2.3GHz i9 using mostly AppleTV and my M4 Mini. Via web searches, I see complaints about audio on this model and luckily, I have experienced none of those. Machine runs beautifully, actually. My question is: how likely is Apple to fix this? I know this is the last year of getting OS upgrades, but I would still like to use AirPlay and would consider reverting to Sequoia. Thanks
