Hello,

I have the opportunity to buy a 2019-2,4-256-16 MBP in mint condition, used only a couple of times at a good price. Summarizing the different alternatives I can see the following;

- The base versions 2019/2020 basically the same except keyboard and storage
- The more fancy ones got the 10th gen processor - better graphic and faster than the one that I'm consider buying

I am not a "power user" - some CAD and 3D but not that heav. Other than that the usual stuff along with some photoediting.

My question is - How/when will I eperience the power increase in the 10th gen MBP? Is it only in very demandig programs/apps or will I notice it also under more regular use?

The one Iäm cosidering is still sharper than the base 2019 as I see it. Do you think its an ok buy?

I'm aware of the keyboard thing.

Thanks
Erik

For general use I consider power more of a future proofing thing. Sounds like you could do everything you do now with a MBA but in 5 years when the typical youtube video is 12k you might be glad you have the power.
