For anyone who hasn’t seen one in the flesh and might be skeptical, as I was, upon seeing one in person, I’m sold.

Hardware wise, it looks and feels superior to its predecessors, in my case a 2017 Pro 15” TB.

The keyboard feels great. The lines and finish top notch. The feet not nearly as prominent as pics convey. And the screen real estate is top notch, no pun intended.

Fully agree - I've been trying one out for the last few weeks (on the fence about buying a MBP or waiting for the iMac Pro in spring) and it has surpassed all my expectations - one of the best apple products ever made :)

I looked at both models for the first time yesterday. I agree, they are much more solid looking and feel great, better than I expected. Was also impressed how close the 14" is in size to the 13".

If they only had included the touch bar I would likely upgrade my 16" right now.
