I already have a Apple LED 24" Display. I am going to buy a new MBP, should I go with the 17 or 15? I havnt seen the 17 yet and I live way to far away from an apple store to go see it. Is the resolution too small on them? I really want to go for the 17" but an not sure because of the res. Also I will be using it with the 24" LED when I am at home. I do mainly design work, I use a tablet.

Alright I was just seeing what the majority of the people get, or like more.
Thanks!

it depends on you. Do you mind carry the extra weight/size of the 17? For me when i was deciding if i wanted the 15 or 17 powerbook. I didn't want to carry the 17 for the size and weight to and from class. So it was a no-brainer for me. You could put the money you save from not getting the 17" and buy an external monitor/other 24 LED at work

Get the 17", better display + 2x 1920x1200 side by side with the 24" LED ACD will be sweet.

i would go for the 15". in my personal opinion the 17" is too small for the resolution. and oddly enough the 24" and the 15" match better because their respective resolutions fit their screens better. i think there is more of a difference when using the 17" by it's self then the 15" by its self even tho the resolutions are different.

Alright if I go with the 15" should I do the 2.66ghz or 2.93? I think I am going to go to the 15" because it is more portable than the 17". Can the 15" take 8gb of ram?

I'm still happy with my 17'' powerbook and would never consider a smaler screen. I don't have an extra screen but even in the case I did I would buy large again.
