Hello my friends, hello...

So I've been running out of space on my 17" MBP and I think its time to upgrade. I have a few drives in mind...

1. Seagate Momentus 7200.4 ST9500420AS 500GB 7200 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive

2. Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD5000BEVT 500GB 5400 RPM 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive

3. Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD6400BEVT 640GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache 2.5" SATA 3.0Gb/s Internal Notebook Hard Drive

Ive heard mixed reviews on the Seagate but pretty much nothing but good for the WD. I know there are bound to be issues and being a technical forum these issues may seem exaggerated; but with that said I've seen a lot of people with Seagate Issues.

I guess I have a couple of questions.
1. I do mostly iPhone dev stuff, the Adobe suite, iTunes and VMs. For my use, do I really need 7200 RPM?

2. I read a review about the WD saying something about Apple's EFI Firmware 1.7 is not compatible with the WD and he had to get Apple to rollback the driver to 1.6. Anyone else ever hear of that issue? Can I check my EFI firmware.

3. I havent read many reviews on the 640gb. Anyone swap this into their MBP yet?
