MacbookPro 8.2 15", i7 Early 2011 - corrupted AMD graphics card - cannot install Os Monterey, nor Ventura with Opencore Legacy Patcher.

I recently sent this computer to a good independent service. There, a different BIOS was uploaded, so that the computer turns on again using the integrated Intel HD3000 graphics card. Of course, I don't have hardware control of screen brightness, because this function is supported by.... AMD chip. So I found the Brightness Control program, which on my OS High Sierra somehow works.

However, I also wanted to use a second, newer system on this computer, this is what my software environment requires. It could be Moterey or Ventura. Before servicing the macbook, I was able to install Opencore Legacy Patcher with OS Monterey 12.6 - but the WiFi card did not work (it did not see the WiFi network). After the service (and a change in the BIOS), the installation flash drive with Monterey (OCLP) is detected, but when you select it, a padlock appears on the screen.

The other option is to install Ubuntu, it works (with 22.04 LTE), but I can't find any program that can effectively reduce the brightness of the screen.

Now the questions:

1. is it possible to install OS Monterey or Ventura OCLP on such a repaired MBP?
2. do you know any effective brightness adjustment program in Ubuntu? In OS High Sierra it works.
3. my guess is that the brightness of the LED backlight in the screen is controlled by a PWM signal. Do you know what are the parameters of such a signal and where to feed it? The topic is about Early and Late 2011 15", i7, AMD/HD3000 models. I believe that I would be able to make a miniature PWM control module. There is a lot of space in this case, for example, the whole DVD drive is not necessary for me.
4. does disabling AMD by software method (in BIOS) realistically disable AMD graphics chip? The computer can get hot, especially when watching videos on YT.

Thank you for any suggestions.
