Hi guys, i got a broken MBP A1260 for free.

It seems to be completely dead, if you press the power button, it does nothing.

Magsafe adapter has 85W and the voltmeter shows 18,5V on the pins. It also indicates that it is loading (orange LED).

Also no response without RAM.

I opened it and tried to jumpstart the logic board - I dont know if the pins were the right one (it says "PWR" ) and has 3,3 V on it. Bridged them but nothing happens.

So if it gets 3,3V on the pins on the logic board, i think its not a power issue.

So i would like to know how i can test the logic board outside the MBP. What to attach ? Heatsinks + fans only ?

Logic board itself looks good, No signs of burned marks or water damage. Logic board number is 820-2249-A

Maybe here are some pro´s who can help me, i would appreciate it :)

Thanks for your time.

regards, steven
