has anybody got any experience with buying apple products, in particular a mbp from the amazon marketplace?

the discount on the standard 13" £999 mbp is 21% at the moment, so it's very tempting. the seller has good feedback, but is this a case of 'if it seems to good to be true, then it probably is?'

Yes, I bought a MacBook Air that way. No problems.

The thing is that if the Marketplace seller messes up, Amazon will go to great lengths to sort it out (including refunds if necessary).

Before you jump that way, though, it's worth checking Apple's refurb store to see if you can get a good deal there.
