Hi there,

First time Apple buyer. I'm about to pick up a maxed out MBP 15" and I found one on Amazon that looks slightly too good to be true.

Here is it's entry on Amazon.

It's almost $300 cheaper than the cost through Apple directly, which makes me question the validity of it. The seller has good ratings so it seems to be legitimate, but I have to wonder, how can they get the cost down that much?

Are there any drawbacks from buying through a third party instead of through Apple?

Thanks in advance.
