I have a new Macbook Pro and I also have a sandisk cruzer flash drive. I use a PC at work and when I brought the drive home to do some work on the Mac absolutely nothing happens. Be easy on me. This is my first mac:D and I am new at this. Thanks

What do you mean "nothing happens"? It doesn't mount? Even formatted NTFS it should mount. How was the drive formatted and did you check to make sure it is not mounted in disk utility?

just that...it does nothing. I plug it in the light comes on on the drive itself... and that is about it. i know on a PC there is an autorun feature. I am not sure what to do

open disk utility

it should show on the left side, one of those things should be the flash drive.

select it and format it to NTFS if you want to use it with pc AND mac, if it's just mac format it to os extended.

after that it should pop up.
