On the fence of grabbing a new 13 in MBP with TB for travel and light gaming. The gaming would only consist of older lighter titles. Borderlands 2, Rocket League, TF2 and CS:GO. On paper it should run fine with integrated graphics. I’ve tried many cheap to expensive windows gaming laptops but can’t get past the bulk and look. Would rather stay in the Apple ecosystem. Anyone have experience with light e sports gaming on MBPs. Is it a good enough experience? Don’t want to melt a motherboard lol.

(I travel half the month so the bulk/size is a big factor)

I think the iGPU of the 13" MBP may struggle with some of those games, though on minimum settings maybe will make it its do-able.

Old games like TF2 will even run on a toaster these days. Can’t comment on rocket league or borderlands. Basically, the GPU is more or less comparable with mobile NVIDIA GTX 750M.
