I regulary connect them to share files and transfer back and forth. It's always been a simple matter of clicking in Finder...after Lion, they won't talk to each other. I can see them but when I click to connect, it fails. I've verified unsername and password, sharing is enabled....nothing has changed except the Lion upgrade on both machines. I now get "Connection Failed" no matter what I try.

What happened?

Friggan brilliant...fixed me up...thanks so much.

Wonder what's up with AFP? That was the only option I've ever had checked.

Same problem here - same solution

I did the same thing and now my other two Macs can find my iMac running Lion. It is bizarre.
