MBP and Superdrive

Started looking at MBP and I thought they all came with superdrives but some listing and threads has me thinking otherwise.
Do all MBP come with superdrives?

MacBook Pro with Retina Display and MacBook Air do not have SuperDrives.

Ahh. Retina is the missing piece. That's a shame. Was it a space thing?

Yes, Apple consciously removed the SuperDrive for the sake of thinness and lightness mainly.
