MBP as a monitor

This may be a strange question. but does anyone know if it is possible to connect an imac to a macbook pro and use the mbp's keyboard and screen as an external monitor? The reason is i need the most powerful imac for the programs im running, but i love notebook interfaces.

No, and you won't be able to fake this.

Just get a 27" LED display from Apple and get the Slim keyboard. They are designed to have the same feel like the MacBook Pro.
