So I just got a new MBA and decided that instead of buying a new Mac Mini to use as a media center, why not just use my older, but still powerful, MBP. So I clean installed Snow Leopard, and loaded my music, pictures, and movies (external 1tb HDD), along with Plex. I have it connected to my power adapter 100% of the time, with the screen closed in clamshell mode 100% of the time as well. So Im just wondering what type of settings I should be using in the "Energy Settings" or whatever panel in System Preferences. If the display is closed/in clamshell mode all the time, what should I set the Display Sleep tab? I basically want it always on, or "idling" but never sleeping or having the wake it up. So should I set display and computer sleep draggers to NEVER? and never screensaver? Just wondering what you guys use if you have a mac mini or MBP media center option. thanks
