So I just bought a MacBook pro. I needed a laptop to replace my intel iMac. Problem is I don't know what to do with my iMac. It is two years old and I don't want to sell it. Any sugestions.
I am in the same dilemma here, my 1st gen intel iMac is replaced by my MBP, but the reselling value is so low that I hesitate to let go the well-looked-after perfectly functioning machining.

Sell it - it's not to become more valuable/expensive/profitable as time goes on, rather, the reverse will apply. If you don't want to sell it, give it to someone; a needy relative - spouse, child, sibling - or a friend, or, failing that, donate it to a school or deserving charity. Meanwhile, enjoy the MBP.
Cheers
