My MBP is 11mo old. They tell me the battery has cycled 143 times and at 150 it starts to show some wear.

The last time I tested it I got 20-30min (WiFi on) before it suddenly went dead with no warning. The Battery meter still said it had 1/2 a charge.

I have conditioned within the last week or two without any improvement.

The computer is in the shop now getting a bum USB port fixed. They said they would test the battery but that it may not be covered by warranty.

I'm hoping that they agree this is a problem and give me a replacement. Anything I can do to increase my odds?

Thanks

And get you arrested and all? Well you can reverse the polarity and send a current through it; should blow up the battery along with your house. And make sure you spray water over it.

You battery should be covered as is.

Yes, I agree, it should be covered. So far Apple is saying "maybe".

Is there any info that would help my argument?
