Silly question--I have a 2.16 GHZ CD MBP purchased August of 2006. My battery health has taken a serious nosedive as of late--system profiler reads the following:

Charge Information:
Charge remaining (mAh): 2794
Fully charged: Yes
Charging: No
Full charge capacity (mAh): 2898
Health Information:
Cycle count: 149
Battery health: Fair

I know there is an Apple support document out there saying they will replace MBP batteries that are failing 2 years past purchase, but how much wrangling am I going to have to do with Apple to get it done? With screen dim and WiFi on, I'm getting 2 hours of battery tops. Will they replace it or will they tell me I "waited too long?"

Thanks!

im gonna have to do this too. im at 64 cycles and only 40% battery health. at first i thought it might be the ac adapter since the connection on the magsafe was coming apart but its been like a week and i've recalibrated and it seems to be getting worse.
