i just installed vista on my shiny (minus the dent) new mbp. Unfourtunatley, boot camp just doesn't seem to work off of a regular leopard cd. I then tried to install the boot camp tools off of the disks that i got from apple, but i only got two choices, DVD and CD sharing or install Mac OSX. Since i don't have an air and i already have osx i obviously don't need these. Does anyone know what i can do to get the drivers to work, as i am seeing the boot camp logo in the toolbar but other than that there are no drivers installed and no function keys work so i'm assuming that on that front there is nothing installed. Please let me know what i can do?

Make sure you insert the "Mac OS X Install Disc 1" while in Windows. Don't put it in while in OS X or boot.

that is what i was doing, where i got the install osx or install cd sharing

ok so i'm looking at it now and it says remote install osx on your macbook air or install dvd or cd sharing for your air. I think it's accessing the wrong part of the disk, plus i don't even own an air!
