Is just bought a Macbook Pro on Craigslist; it came with the square, white wall charger. The problem is, when I plug the charger into an outlet, it falls out. I've had to literally tape the charger to the wall to keep it in the outlet.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to fix this?

If you choose to continue to use the two prong adapter, I'd recommend bending the adapter inwards a little, that'll force it to stay inside the outlet better.

Personally I recommend going with the three prong adapter... having it grounded is a good thing.

I have had that issue as well. Usually depends on the outlet

Have you tried using the 3-pronged adapter connection?

I only have the 2-prong adapter. Did you buy the 3-prong? Where and how much?

Right now, I'm using an extension cord. But any other ideas would be welcomed.

He doesn't have it. I searched on Amazon, though.

This would do right? My MBP is the 2.66, 6month old, 15inch model.

I believe so. I think any adapter than came with a magsafe power supply would work

Though I will say, I don't see how this adapter will provide anything better than what you are doing now with an extension cord other than using all Apple cords

Aesthestics, I would rather use the Apple cord when out and about say like Starbucks or school, rather than having an extension cord to plug the brick into, but at the same time I do realize that people arent as much a slave to uniformity as I am.
