I was wondering if it was possible to hook up a MBP (the older, non unibody model with the full DVI port) to both an ACD (23'' silver to be exact) and a wacom cintiq 12''. I think it would be nice to be able to have a subset of an image/drawing on the cintiq and then have the whole thing displayed on the ACD. Is this possible since the MBP only has one DVI

Technically it's possible but I ain't tried it, please feel free to be a guinea pig though. You'll definitely need a DVI-D Dual-Link Splitter Cable so you can attach both video devices to the DVI output of the MacBookPro.
