Hello everyone!
I got a serious problem with my MBP 2,5GHz, 10.5.5. On nearly every startup it shows zig zag lines, or purple squares then it informs me that i will have to restart, somtimes 3 or 4 times in a row.
The only things I tried so far is repairing disk permissions and the monthly, weekly... scipts. If I do not shot it down for some days it seems to get better the first startups after, but the it starts again. Normally I would just leave it on but I also have the problem that once in a while the MB does not wake up....
I'd love to go to the apple service but I need it for my work...so backups every night....

Please help!

Yeah....between all the mentions of graphics in there, and the screen artifacts, it looks like the Nvidia issues have struck your machine. If you are still under warranty, it's definitely time for a Genius Bar trip.
