MBP & Dell 2408WFP Grainy and Flashing

Hey guys and gals,

I searched all the way back to 2007 before posting.

I have my brand new MBP and brand new 2408wfp monitor using mini displayport to dvi adapter.

The screen keeps flashes with a poor representation of the mirrored MBP screen about three times then continues to flash with the typical no connection snow.

I have a legit Apple mini displayport to DVI adapter brand new as well.
