MBP Disc Slot

On my Desktop I burned an ISO image file to a blank DVD and it ran fine on my desktop, but I when I put it in my MBP, it said my DVD is blank.

I put in a DVD movie I just bought, and when I insert it it just try's to run but eventually gets ejected.

Is there something wrong with my Disc Slot?

Try to boot from a disc ...

Insert the OS X disc and hold C.
