Is anybody else finding that their 2019 16" MBP display makes sudden shifts in color?
It's around 5pm here and the computer is like a little dance hall light.

I understand that night shift should subtly shift the color temp in the evening. The dynamic Catalina wallpaper might also be contributing, but like I said the shift are very jarring and distracting. Shouldn't it be more gradual. I've also got truetone enabled as well but my ambient lighting situation hasn't changed. (Where is the sensor for that by the way?)

But on a serious note I've seen my MacBook Pro change the color and I suspect its the True Tone so I just ignore it. I've seen it change pretty aggressive a few times but just doesn't bother me and it stops after a bit.

I still don't think the changes I'm seeing are due to true tone, because I'm sitting here typing in an office with artificial lighting and nothing is changing. I even tried throwing a black cloth over the sensor, and it didn't cause any drastic changes.

I think it's mostly the dynamic wallpaper. A lot of UI elements are transparent so the wallpaper color is bleeding through. That and nightshift are both too aggressive IMO.
