I wanted to re-install so I put in the SL DVD into my MBP and rebooted, but after about 30 seconds it ejects the DVD for some reason. I tried using a Windows 7 DVD and it boots that fine, so I checked the drive was functioning this way. How come it doesn't take my OS X DVD anymore when before it was fine? I put the OS X DVD into another older computer I have and it saw the DVD just fine as well.

Okay never mind, I think it was because the MBP was too hot. It was like 185 degree before when I last checked right before I shut it down. I waited like 3 minutes for it to cool down and finally it booted. Because I kept trying to boot with it like 10 times and kept rebooting over and over without waiting and the fan was running very loudly and now it's very quiet because it cooled down I think. But anyway it's running now, so if anyone is having similar issues like me, just wait a bit and let your computer cool off first
