I have read a great number of these posts and still cannot figure out how to get this working. I have the output from the MBP to the TV displaying at the resolution of "1080i" and my MBP resolution of 1280x800 as much of the posts have said, but there is still a portion of my screen cutoff on my TV. I can't see the top bar at all, and I can only see half of the application bar on the bottom. Any ideas on how to fix this? I am thinking this is because the MBP is outputting two resolutions. I don't need the MBP LCD to be used at all when I have it hooked up to the TV. Would turning this off fix it and be able to be done?
