Pls help me.
i ordered yesterday Kingston SSDNow V200 256GB for my mbp early 2011 model from amazon.
it will arrive may be weekend.
I need some help here pls any one tell me how to replace my hdd inside mbp to Kingston SSDNow V200 256GB (mbp early 2011 ), installing os lion & transfering all file to ssd.
How to set up step by step guide .
Pls help i am new here.

I'm not sure what model you have (13/15/17") but here's a good guide on the web for the early 2011 13" model. Best of luck!

I'm personally waiting for the new MacBook Pros to be announced (my first Mac notebook) and will likely be installing an SSD myself soon. Let us know how it turns out .

Jeg sidder med en late 2009 15" MacBook Pro og vil også gerne udskifte min harddisk med en SSD.

Jeg vil egentlig helst lave en ren installation af OSX og fjerne alt det skrammel jeg har fået oplagret gennem tiden (ligesom trådstarteren)

Kan man bare fjerne harddisken der sidder i nu og indsætte en en SSD-harddisk og boote op på den? Den er jo i sagens natur helt tom, så hvordan skal man boote op på denne nye/rene SSD-harddisk?

Findes der i øvrigt nogle acceptable SSD'er der kan komme i en MBP som er på mindst 256GB til under 1200-1400 kr?
