Hi
The ethernet port on my MBP (C2D 2.53, 4Gb) seems to have failed. Various cables, connected to various switches/hubs all result in 'not connected'. Airport is still working.
I bought a Belkin Gigabit Ethernet ExpressCard from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Belkin-Expr...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1272553524&sr=8-1
which states PC/Mac
However, the packaging now it has arrived doesn't mention Mac, and when I plug it in to my Mac, it is detected, but still shows 'not connected' when a cable is plugged in.
Is there a way to get the card working or does it need to go back?
Could something else be at fault?
Can you recommend an expresscard ethernet adapter that will work.
I am running SnowLeopard.
TIA
