MBP fan rattle

Anyone else's right-side fan rattle noticeably at 3000-3500rpm?

Hi all- new to the forums. Mine just started acting up TODAY. Ever since I updated the software and installed an additional 1gb ram the fans come on all the time- sometimes they never stop. I'm thinking of sending mine in since we're lucky enough to have an apple store in SA but im worried how long it will be out. And then there are all the horror stories...

Mine only starts to act up during the first hour or two of operation, but then suddenly decreases in volume, but it is still there. Agghhhhh!!!! It is driving me crazy! Anyways, do you think that the Apple Retail Store sells the new magnetic fans that are meant for the 17-inch? I have the 15 inch Unibody Macbook Pro.

They won't sell you spare parts seperately, unfortunately. at least in my experience.

note: this is for the 15 inch mbp, if you have a unibody, those part are on a diffrent list. as are the ones for the 17 inch
